Struggling to see you in your story?
Let's change the script
From cultural expectations to family obligations,
obstacles often hold us back from living in alignment with ourselves.
Therapy can be the antidote.
Discover your identity,
Balance self and family,

Honest conversations for
an aligned life
We all come to therapy for different reasons.
But for many children of immigrant parents,
challenges like these often drive our desire for change.
Internalized Expectation
and Guilt
The weight of other’s expectations can make it hard to know what you really want
Anxiety and
Perfectionism
When feeling like you’re never good enough leaves you exhausted and overwhelmed
Family Communications
and Boundaries
Honoring your culture and setting boundaries with family can feel like a balancing act
People Pleasing and
Identify Struggles
It’s hard to know who you are when you’re always trying to make everyone else happy
Loneliness
and Disconnection
Even surrounded by people, you can still feel deeply disconnected and alone
Navigating Life Transitions
Big life changes can leave you feeling stuck, uncertain, and unsure of your next step
Ready to
Rediscover You?
Permission Granted
Amid the expectations and obligations, therapy is the one place where you get to come first. It’s not about self-shaming or parent-blaming — it’s about giving yourself the time and permission to explore who you are outside of everything you’ve been told you should be.

What would life be like if you showed up as exactly who you wanted to be, and didn’t feel the crushing guilt or shame of going your own way?
Easier said than done? Sure.
But possible? Absolutely.
As the daughter of immigrant parents, I’ve lived the tension of balancing cultural heritage with the desire to forge your own path. Carrying the weight of countless expectations wears on you, especially when it seems like every choice — big or small — comes with invisible strings attached.
If you’re navigating that same space, know that there is a way to find balance, and you don’t have to figure it out alone.
My Approach
Am I the therapist
for you?
Therapy with me won’t be the quiet, nod-along kind. I’m here to ask the tough questions and get to the heart of what’s really going on. I believe growth happens when we dig deep, challenge old habits, and find new ways to show up in the world. I’ll be right there with you — engaged, present, and sometimes even with a bit of humor — to help you through the hard parts.
We’ll make a good match if…
Your’re eager for your evolution…
No more hiding for you. You're ready to meet the truest version of yourself and apply productive coping habits, communication skills, and more.
Or at least excited by the possibilities…
Not everyone starts therapy with their
foot on the gas. As long as you’re willing
to explore the possibilities, I’m happy to support you.
And know the value of space…
You’re ready to honor the safe, open container that therapy provides—a space where you can explore what’s working, what isn’t, and who you are.
Schedule
Let’s find out.
Schedule your free, no-pressure conversation.
I know starting therapy—or finding a new therapist—can feel daunting. That's why I start every new client journey with a free 20-minute consultation so we can both feel confident in moving forward. We'll chat about what's going on in your life, the change you're craving, and how I can help you get there.
FAQ

The number of sessions varies from person to person, depending on your unique needs and goals. I like to follow a “rule of three”—it typically takes about three sessions to lay a strong foundation, understand where you’re at, and determine the best course of action. After those first few visits, we’ll have a clearer idea of how therapy is progressing and what kind of timeline might make the most sense for you. Every journey is different, and we’ll adjust as we go to ensure you’re getting the support you need.

I offer both in-person and online sessions to accommodate different needs. If you're in the local area, I highly recommend in-person visits. There’s a certain magic that happens when we’re in the same room, one-on-one.
There’s also something deeply transformative about physically making space in your schedule, dedicating that time, energy, and environment solely to yourself. For many, this can be the first step toward learning to honor your needs, goals, and authentic life. It’s a small but powerful act of self-care that sets the tone for real change. -
Finding the right therapist is a lot like finding any other meaningful relationship—sometimes you just click, and sometimes you don’t. We should be able to tell within a few sessions if we're a good match. If, however, we aren't a fit or my specialties don’t match up with the challenges you’re facing (like grief, for example) I'll help refer you on to someone better suited to your needs.
I also recommend meeting with a few therapists before committing to a series of sessions, and I won’t take it personally if you’re already interviewing others! It’s important that you feel comfortable and confident with the person you’re working with. Your growth and well-being are my priority, and finding the right fit is key to that. -
Yes, I’m certified and experienced in EMDR therapy (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), which can be a powerful tool for processing trauma and other distressing experiences. However, I always recommend focusing on building a strong therapeutic relationship first, rather than jumping straight into a specific type of therapy. Sometimes, EMDR might not be the best fit right away, or another modality might be more suited to your current needs.
We can work together to explore what feels right for you, and if EMDR is the path we take, I’ll ensure it’s at the right time and pace for your growth. -
Most clients are able to use their insurance plans to cover therapy. I accept the following plans: Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna and Evernorth, Elevance, Optum, Oxford, and UnitedHealthcare UHC | UBH.
If you're unsure about your coverage, I recommend reaching out to your insurance provider to verify your benefits for mental health services. Or, contact me if you're concerned about making therapy accessible to you.
For those without insurance, the self pay fee for individual sessions is $170. Payments can be made via American Express, Discover, Health Savings Account cards, Mastercard, or Visa.
I also offer a sliding scale fee for clients who need financial flexibility. If cost is a concern, please don't hesitate to reach out—I believe therapy should be accessible to everyone and am happy to discuss options that work for you.
